  4. Dead Media first appeared in , becoming Hefner’s fifth album in a very prolific four years.I don’t remember any Dylan-esq yells of “Judas” from the back of the auditorium at the time but it certainly wasn’t universally popular with the anoraked teddy-clutching fraternity.

As a result, the band has released a best-of album, a 2 CD collection of 43 unreleased songs called Catfight and a live album, recorded at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios. All of the band.

  8. The album has a great 's touch to it. Think 10CC, but most likely Dollboy is the first one to rhyme 'Victorian ladies' with 'Hades', king of the underworld. A downbeat, almost lounge sound accompanies Dollboy through 'Ulu' and backs up his wanderings.

  9. Be careful what you wish for the critics panned the bands’ third album for not deviating from the standard late 80’s style indie pop that they had so perfectly and insistently served up on the first three albums demanding that now was the time for something different.
